Welcome to the Entrepreneurship in the Manufacturing Belt Study of Resource Acquisition. In this study, I am investigating how entrepreneurs in the Columbus OH, Dayton OH and Indianapolis IN areas acquire financial, human, and information resources. I am interested in seeing if homegrowns (those always living in the area), transplants (those new to the area) and boomerangs (those from the area who left and returned) approach and acquire resources differently.

If you are a small business owner in these areas, you are invited to participate in the survey. The survey should take 5 minutes or less to complete.

If you would like a copy of the results with ideas for your business, you can register in the results area. When all of the data collection and analysis is complete (in September), I will forward a copy of the results to your email. Your email will only be used for this purpose and not distributed to any other source.
